i'd love to if any bands worth seeing would finally come to houston!
I thought I'd throw this out there in honor of the two tickets I just bought. I'm gonna see Sigur Ros in New Orleans in March.
Anyone else have some "Must See" shows coming around the bend?
JM
coheed and cambria in february, godspeed you black emperor! in march.
there are a shitload of concerts coming up in the next couple months that i want to go see, but they are all 21+. a small sample:
interpol, a whisper in the noise, the roots, andrew broder [the fog].
I am hoping A Perfect Circle goes on tour because I heard that they are releasing a new album very soon. I hope this happens but if not, then eh.
I'm gonna try to make it to the Classic Metalfest in Chicago, that's not until June though.
I just went to a bad-assed New Year's Eve party with like 5 bands playing 1 foot away from a mass of crazy people in the basement of some house. Made new friends, ran into someone I hadn't seen in two years, and got involved in organized fighting madness (easy to explain what I mean, but I'll hold off ). Good times, irreplaceable memories. Doesn't really fit in too well with the topic, but it's the only kind of shows I get to see, and probably better for me than most bigger bands considering how heavily personal it was.
Shows I'm going to miss because I don't know anybody around my current place of residence:
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
Henry Rollins
Sparta
Guided By Voices
I'm pretty sure that the Henry Rollins show is spoken word, but what the hell. It stays on the list. And while I'm at it, Dave Chappelle is going to be in town soon.
God is Rome
Since I live in NW Florida I will be seeing Jack and Shit: the Void tour.

I've heard rumors of a possible collaboration between Shit & Puddle Of Mudd.
God is Rome
That's a problem I have alot. Most shows I want to go see are out of town (nearest being LA), and finding anyone to go with isn't easy. I'm reluctant to go by myself, that doesn't seem all that great, so I find myself missing out on alot. Lame, but it just seems weird to me to go solo.Shows I'm going to miss because I don't know anybody around my current place of residence:
I wouldn't mind seeing Interpol in SF in Feb, Sigur Ros in April.
Lets see...
