Thread: Megaman Battle Network 3

  1. Megaman Battle Network 3

According to IGN Pocket Megaman Battle Network 3 will be released by Capcom in two different versions, called "Blue" and "White":

« The third in the popular Mega Man Battle Network series sees everyone's favorite cyber-hero split into two separate games, White and Blue. Each version features unique enemies, bosses, battle chips, and surprises. While the White version will be distributed to all retailers in the U.S., the Blue version will only be available exclusively at one retail chain, which has not been announced. »

Hrm... I don't like it when they make you want to buy both games. Unique enemies and bosses may make one game better than the other and I certainly don't want to buy both. Ah well.. I'll just pick one and live with it.

    *will be getting both*

  3. it kinda sucks that capcom's comin' up with this idea for the series in the 3rd instalment. ah well, i just hope it ends up bein' as good as the other 2 games.

  4. If it really has alot of unique stuff, and I'm not talking one new boss a few different chips and a couple version specific enemies I'll gladly get both.

MMBN rocks my socks completely off my feet.

The more I play them, the close and close they are getting to knocking Card Fighters Clash off my "number one handheld game" of all time pedestal.

  5. Yeah, I love the series. The two versions deal is kind of a rip, but if the Blue version is exclusive to one retailer, it's sure to be worth quite a bit more than SRP on eBay in a few years.

...But who am I kidding, I never sell my games.

  6. i just dont get what you guys see in this game. i played the first one for about 2 hours, and i was completely bored the whole time.

when i bought it off a friend ($5, he found it) i was expecting the old jump-around-and-shoot-shit MegaMan game, but instead i got this move-on-squares crap.

....go play mega man 1-8 and mega man x 1-6.....and the gameboy mega man games...1-5....or mega man zero.

Sounds like you just went into it with the completely wrong expectations.

If I bought Gran Turismo expecting a 2D sprite based platformer I might be a little salty too.

... but that's the thing... I'm pretty sure the Japanese version only comes in one flavor. While Pokemon Sapphire and Ruby have separate entries on sales ranking charts, Rockman Exe 3 only has one so I'm pretty sure this is a stupid Capcom of America stunt.

    WTF

  10. i had gone into the game expecting it would be fun. a few of the guys in the tavern had been praising the game for weeks, and when i had the opportunity to get it for $5, i jumped at it. i hadnt heard anything on the gameplay.

no bother though. i sold it for $11 at Gamestop and got myself $11 off FFX.
