Thread: Castlevania SotN

  1. Castlevania SotN

Now it seems to me that whil playing CV SOTN you have a 1 in 50 chance of getting this so I won't be surprised if no one else has seen it... But at some points when Alucard is turrned to stone... His body is replaced with one of a demon crouching down... this demon is easily the size of ANY level top to bottom.. and with his one outstretched wing he covers half the screen... This has boggled my brain since the first time I saw it... anyone know what it is?

On a side note when in this huge demonic form... NOTHING hurts Alucard... odd eh?

    And The Day Dragged On.......

  2. Perhaps a extension of Alucard's demonic hertiage?

Ethier way, yea it's pretty cool looking. *-neo

  3. On first thought all I could remember was Dracula's past forms and how similar they looked.. I do believe it has to do with his father but still so teasing.. *starts a bring Alucard back picket line* the new guys just dont cut it... if its not Simon, Trevor, Richter, or Alucard... I dont want it..

  4. I've actually had it happen to me quite a few times. It does happen at random, but I've noticed that it's happened to me more as my experience level has risen. Could there be a possible connection?

Vampires are humans possessed by the essence of a demonic spirit. I guess when Alucard turns to stone occasionally, he becomes a statuesque depiction of his demonic essence. Quite cool.

  5. Interesting...

I've never seen that. It would have freaked me out if I did.

  6. Never seen that either, and I played alot of SOTN.

  7. I've seen that once before.

I tried getting it to happen again but it never did.

    It's in the game though.

    It's pretty cool.

    Neiter have I.

But you have to actually get hit to see it, so that might explain it.

  9. Good point. I tend to avoid the damage, and almost never get turned into stone.

  10. See, that's what's so great about this game. There's just so much cool little hidden shit. There are lots of people who've played the hell out of this game, and never saw that.

Fuck the parade of GBA Castlevanias...
