Thread: Red Dead Revolver update

  1. Red Dead Revolver update

A bit of an update posted at Gamespot
    http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories...908933,00.html

I mainly posted this to announce who is doing the music, the man behind the soundtrack to The Good, The Bad and the Ugly and other classic spaghetti-western films: Ennio Morricone! He's made alot more soundtracks than just westerns, and has been working to this day on movie soundtracks so no worries about whether the soundtrack will kick ass or not (the song in the trailer was nice to begin with). I'm really hyped for this game.

  2. That's just too cool. The music in those films it practically genre defining and instantly recognizable, even if he does rehash his old compositions it'll still be something worth listening to.

  3. I used to have zero interest in this game, now I might just buy it. What a great coup for Capcom.

  4. Ennio Morricone?

Damn. Instant purchase then, instead of likely.

  5. Good to see them doing everything they can to give the player a memorable game.

  6. I have no idea who that guy is, but I think the game looks hot

  7. Very excited about this game, and I dont even like westerns that much

Good to hear Capcom giving it soo much attention.

This is indeed a great move by Capcom, yet it is another reminder of the ever widening gap between the haves and the have-nots of the industry.

  10. It's all about gameplay to me, so I will need to research some movies of the game in action before making my decision. A soundtrack is nice, but if I wanted great music I'd listen to my CDs.

Again, a nice bonus but nothing meaningful of a purchase, to me.

Luckily for me this game is shaping up rather nicely!
