because of their policy, i can trade those 2 in for say, RE2, and then once they hand me RE2 I can return it that very moment for store credit, which I can then use to purchase Skies of Arcadia Legend, correct?

if the deal is stated that you get the increase IF you are trading toward one of the LISTED games, which it is, then no...if you tried to return the game from the list, for credit, they probably would only have to give you the listed trade-in value without the increase...the reason why they do it for certain "hot" titles is because those titles have a lower buy-in cost for the company...

Me and Korly went to several EB's and DESTROYED their stock of Preowned World Destruction League: Thundertanks, and Fantavisions, priced at $4.99. I think between the two of us there were 4 of each. Add in a few Eternal rings, a Eve of Extinction, and Warriors of Might and Magic and we were set

And another thing. I bought a 2nd copy of the Sims at one babbages, turned right around and traded it in for Fatal Frame on XBOX at another.

Yeah, using this trick I got a copy of The Sims, and preordered a copy of DOA:XBV and 3 copies of The Getaway.

I'll just return the extra copies of The Getaway to other Gamestops to get stuff I actually want.

I'd wait until the next day, or, go to another close Gamestop location.

I honestly have nothing but contempt for those of you buying the GC versions of RE2 and RE3. These are worse than the Dreamcast versions and you are sending the message to Capcom that you are willing to buy rehashes. I see Capcom's decision to not make the effort in properly remaking the other games in the series was wise: still plenty of suckers that will pay close to full whack for a fucking PSone port.

Plus, the US re-release of RE2 has been confirmed to be edited like the US PSX/DC/PC releases were. You might as well write Capcom a check because you're not getting anything for your money.
