GUILTY GEAR X2!!! GUILTY GEAR X2!!
edit : sorry. It is for Playstation 2. It is already out in Japan, but comes out February 4th for North America
Ok, aside from the stupid sub-title I gave this topic, I've gotten alittle sick and tired of no place with a central list for an outlook of 2003! I'm ranting, and I'm lovin' every minute of it.
Seriously though, I want a composited list of games for each system including PC that is showing potential and that you fine fellas of this board think has potential. I will try to update the list frequently. This way we have a tab!
I don't care which system it's for, but it should be labelled. So, one section for Cube, one section for The Box, one section for the Station 2 and so forth:
Gamecube: (now I'm just getting fancy)
1. Soul Caliber 2 (Link. Yes.)
2. PN 0.3.
3. Viewtiful Joe
4. The new Megaman title
5. Resident Evil 4
6. Dead Phoenix
7. Killer 7
8. Giftpia
9. Mario Kart Cubed
10. F-Zero
11. Wario World
12. Zelda: Wind Waker
13. 1080: Avalanche
14. Star Fox Armada
15. Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles
16. Mario Golf
EDIT: Gamecube list updated Jan 19th.
Xbox: (ooh, bold!)
1. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
2. Panzer Dragoon Orta (released!)
3. Halo 2
4. Fable
5. PSO
6. True Fantasy Live Online
7. Return to Castle Wolfenstein (this will rock on Live)
8. Dino Crisis 3
9. Capcom vs. SNK EO
10. Ninja Gaiden
11. Sudeki
12. Murakumo
13. Project Gotham Racing 2
14. Brute Force
15. Sea Dogs 2
16. Pyschonauts
EDIT: XBox list updated January 19th
C'mon guys, I know there's more I'm forgetting about completely!
Playstation 2: (no more bold, I'm lazy)
I honestly don't have a clue but they always seem to pull alot of great sleepers out of their asses! Oh wait:
1. War of the Monsters (is this 2003?)
2. Devil May Cry 2
3. Resident Evil Online
4. .hack//infection (vol 1)
5. .hack//vol 2-4
6. Arc the Lad: Spirit of the Dead Dust
7. Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter
8. Alex Kidd in Miracle World (3DA)
9. Fantasy Zone (3DA)
10. Phantasy Star 1, 2, & 4 (3DA)
11. Virtua Racing (3DA)
12. Star Ocean 3: Till the End of Time
13. Winning Eleven 6
14. Club Football
15. Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
16. Auto Modellista
17. Micro Machines
18. Gradius V
19. Xenosaga
20. Dark Cloud 2
21. Varanoir
22. Venus and Braves
EDIT: So I guess all the lists are updated today!
PC: (PC is a short system title, so the boldage doesn't take up as much space! Although this little blurb does waste alot of time...)
1. Sim City 4
2. Unreal 2
3. Duke Nukem 4ever
4. Command and Conquer: Generals
EDIT: PC list updated Jan 19th
This list may be useless, but everybody always likes to gaze at things to look forward to, so lets give them something to gaze at? At the very least it's something to do and my list is horrendous. The Gamecube list has started out very high only due to Nintendo releasing an unfinished listing.
Special Thanks:
Thanks Tragic
Thanks Yoshi
Thanks sssg
Thanks Rumpy
Thanks Gongos
Thanks Melf
Thanks Vulgar

Please specify system, I'm not familiar with import games as much. I'm assuming it's PS2 or Dreamcast but since I unfairly excluded the DC due to the discontinuation I'll stick with PS2.Originally posted by Valgar

One Xbox title that certainly has my intrest peaked would be Pyschonauts (I beleive that's the title). It's from the same guy who was behind Grim Fandango and has a really cool premise. The hero goes into the minds of his enemies so each level takes place inside of some crazy villans brain.

GC version= $50 for the game, $45 for a BBA adapter, $25 for 50 feet of cat. 5 cable.Originally posted by Lhadatt
Nah, get the GC version. The Xbox rev will have way too much cheating due to the ability to hack into the Xbox's hard drive...
PSO GC= too expensive for me.
How do you know there will be so much cheating?
According to STRANGERS POSTING TO INTERWEB MESSAGE BOARDS there is no new class. PSO is a pretty big game - why is it such a bitch to get any concrete information on it? Oh yeah. Sega. Duh.Originally posted by Gongos
i just want to knwo what the new class is, the game is out in japan, how come i cant find anything on the new guy? I will likely be staying with the gc version unless the new guy is seriously impressive, otherwise i have put too much time already into my fomar to start over again.
I'd like to know if it supports system link.
