Minnesota has ape loads, yes ape loads of kick ass people from here! Like Sean William Scott! Yep, Stiffler himself! And people like Jesse Ventura! He was a wrestler and a XFL commentator, he did some politics as well not sure though. We also have the inventors of Spam, the Snowmobile, and some other stuff!

I'm from the Gulf Coast, and I've never heard "poor boy" before. I always called them subs.

fyi - a grinder is a sub that has been heated/toasted, like usually in a broiler.

I usually think of a hoaggie when a sub has too much shredded lettuce, and tons of mayo, and cheap lunch meat, and is sorta soggy. Hoggies are often the sorta subs you get from fund raisers, or chincy catterers.
yeah. but a grinder is definately a toasted sub.
