First Psikyo taps out, now this happens. Perhaps they should not have overdone the P² series.

I didn't know Compile all too well. I've played and enjoyed some Puyo Puyo games, and a Cotton game on the Saturn... That's Compile, right? Good stuff.

It's a great site for learning about Compile's shooters. I'm a little bit skeptical on some of the Sega games though and how they know they're Compile games. Although I believe them about SMS R-Type. That Super Stage music sounds very Compile-like.

Zanac on NES is insanely difficult - mostly due to the shitty NES d-pad - but has the most incredible title screen music I've ever heard on the NES. It really gets you all jazzed up to wreak great destruction on the forces of flying evil.

I'd really love to play Zanac X Zanac, but I've no intentions of modding my Playstation. I wish I could buy a cheap, new, import-modded PS One somewhere. Just for this one game. And for Gradius Gaiden.

Damn shame. I would have loved another new shooter from the Zanac team considering how much I enjoyed ZanacXZanac.

Baron, you should really check out ZanacXZanac if you like Zanac- it's pretty rare that a game is updated as well as that one was. I think if you knew what was out there you'd find quite a bit more than two jap PSone games you want also.
