Thread: So anyone else been playing a lot of GGX in anticipation for GGX2

  1. So anyone else been playing a lot of GGX in anticipation for GGX2

I busted this out recently and been playing it like crazy in anticipation for GGX2

Man it really is just a great fighting game and series overall

I hope one day this series gets as big a following as SF and KoF gets because it really deserves it IMHO

I was also reading through the Instruction book and man I haven’t mastered all the techniques in this game, I can kick the computers ass but I’m sure if I played a pro at this they would lay the smack down on me

Still the game is fun as hell

So anyone else been playing it up on this or the original GG as of late (reminds me I need to bust that out tomorrow)

In Japan GGXX is bigger than both right now. There are some sick players in Akihabara, truly the VF4 Evolution of 2D fighters.

  3. its good to hear its really popular i hope it catches on here

it deserves every popularity that it gets

while i openly admit i love SF more this is still a damn good fighting game series that deserves alot of attention and sales

  4. The arcade scene in Europe is dead and IIRC Naomi 2 GGXX has yet to be released in America so no chance of a SF2 style worldwide phenomenon sadly.

  5. This game looks really good, but sadly, with a Live-enabled CvS2 sitting right next to it, this would get no play from me And of course, a 2D fighter just wouldn't be the same in a day 'n age where I can kick your ass with others online, PV
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  6. If arcades, in the U.S., were still the phenomenon they used to be GGXX would have clusters of avid gamers putting quarters on the machine to signify thier turn.
