lol. Thanks, dude. Barring Burgundy's Stanly Cup and the best ever, John PV saying that Spelling is overrated, that's the best laugh I've had in a long time.

Whoo-hoo. I think this is the end of these stories for me, as I seem to have reached my own...

I dig, but, the fact is, I got nothing to hide. If I post that, and people call me lame or a moron, that's fine. That's the worst they can do, and that's not very much at all.
I'm certainly not for the wholesale posting of intimate details of anyone's life, but, for me, I thought that perhaps the end result of the story, would negate the overshare portion of it.
"Tick-tock"
I think everything matt has said can apply to anyone (and that's saying a lot). I know in my own experience, the best things that have happened to me were the things I was afraid of not having happen, and so being apprehensive to even do anything about it. Like I used to hate showing people my drawings, and I always wanted to send out stuff to different mags, but was too afraid of it. When GameGO came about, I finally thought that 'why not?' The worst that could happen was my stuff doesn't get it. Rejection, yeah, but not the end of the world.
Funny enough, it did get in, and after Haoh wanted me to do something with the website (back when there was hope that a site would still exist). It was a big deal to me - and even now, I notice it was a big change in the way I felt about doing things. Since then I've had no qualms with giving chance a chance when it comes to what I want to accomplish.
I really liked reading what matt had to say, and it's even reminded me of what matters in doing what it takes to make you happy. Fate is one thing...sitting and waiting for it to hit you on the head is another. It just won't happen. Working hard will.
Great. now go write some headlines.Working hard will.![]()
fancy that, I moved to SLO right after Xmas of '98, and lived there till May. Ain't that somethin', we probably drank in some of the same bars or crossed paths at the farmers market
Anyhow I lived at the RootRanch ..last ranch on Prefumo Canyon Rd, right at the top before Sea Canyon Rd starts back down. They were filming a Toyato Rav4 commercial on the property when I moved there
aah, what memories.
SeaCnynRd, from the front door of my guest house ..puts a tear in my eye, compared to when I look out my front door now (40-Store)
ever been up there Matt? Prefumo Canyon Rd was hella fun to drive. doin power slides around the switchbacks, then having to skid to a stop because of cattle in the road.
Hey, could someone delete my first post?
Hmm..where is it exactly? North or south of SLO?Originally posted by Core Boy

I came from Ventura County, Newbury Park to be precise. I used to drive North up the 101, to State St., then take the 154 pass. Man, I loved driving that thing, all the way up that mountain, through Santa Ynez and Los Osos, made for the best Late Night Madman Driving ever.
Definately sounds like a place I'll have to go and check out, the rolling hills of Santa Maria/Nipomo are quite beautiful.
SLO was a great area, too. Very nice people and those were some great years up there, it was good to get away from LA, and doing that, made me realize how messed up LA is. The people in it are just plain dicks and bitches all the time.
Great pic.
hey matt, were you one of the blokes in the movie the guys made at GFO? i remember there being like 3 or 4 guys just walking around to some porn style music. it was like a "whos behind the avitars" type of thing. damn...cant remember who was in it. i know there was an asian fellow and mebbe dango was another one.
