So, anyone really think that Link is actually a girl?

Just been wondering this for awhile now. It was recently brought up in one of the many Zelda threads. Then after analyzing some of the latest character designs featured in retail advertising; I've began speculating even more.

Either way, I still love the game, but that would probably bring up some other questions.

Apart from the cartoon, has he ever had any physical contact with Zelda? Sure, he rescues the girl, but usually that has some sort of... reward ultimately attatched to it.
