Thread: Orta sales in Japan and the US?

  1. Orta sales in Japan and the US?

How's it doing? *crosses fingers for U.S.*

  2. It did about 39,000 in Japan, which makes it like the 7th best selling Xbox game yet.

  3. Its great to know that the lackluster DOA:XV is the best selling Xbox game in Japan while Orta is about 8 billion times better as well as many other Xbox games. Their loss me thinks. :: shrugs ::

Last weekend, my local Best Buy only had 2 or 3 copies left of Orta, and a couple of empty racks where copies had been. That's encouraging, I suppose.

  5. Unless they only got 4 copies.

I wish more companys told us how much it cost to make the game like do with movies. Just to compare for ourselves I guess. I don't imagine Orta is selling like hot cakes though, even though its amazing.

  6. What I hear from stores is that Orta had an awesome launch, and most stores plowed through 25 copies in 2 days, but it pretty much dried up when DoAX came out. Even dragons can't overpower jiggling tits.

  7. Games Sega should have released on anything other than X-box:
    Shenmue 2
    Jet Set Radio Future
    Panzer Dragoon Orta
    Gun Valkrie
And every other game they ever released as an X-box exclusive.

  8. No those games should be on Xbox (maybe not Shen 2) becuase I don't think they would look nearly as good on anything else.

Gamecube could easily handle GunValk and JSRF. Those games had some nice art but were hardly benchmarks for techinical wizardry.
