Is 1942 multi plattform? I'm not interested in 2D fighting games anymore, but if I were I'd recommend GGX2.
What to get? What to get?
I was introduced to GGX2 last night (thanks, BenT) and I'm very interested in purchasing it now. This week I already had the BF 1942 expansion on my list, and Capcom VS SNK 2 (Xbox) for next week.
Now, I can't buy everything. Maybe I should stick with the two fighters? Help me decide. :P

Be like Reno and the rest of us and get GGX2, then if you have an Xbox, plunk down some cash for CvS2, Xbox Live to get beat up (err, get into some fun competitive matches) with the rest of the gaming community here.
uh, if you still have any cash, then get 1942.
Road to Rome should only be 20$, so its not much of a reach to get all three.
You probably don't think I'm a very nice guy...
Whoa, look at those results...not too many pc afficiandos on the boards...well, I can't really talk, since all I play is WC3...
Anyway, I'd get GGX2, since it's out now, CvS2 when it comes out next week, and *then* the expansion when time allows. However, if it's for an online game I play regularly, I'd probably get the expansion first, since it'd be cheap and immediately gratifying.
GGX2, It sounds like it's a great fighter.

"I can vouch - there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, like owning your own Neo Geo. To touch it, to look at it, to feel the kerchunk of a mammoth VHS sized cartridge plugging in. To turn it on and hear the "doodlydoo," and then sit or stand and play with those huge joysticks. To play on your TV or your monitor and just revel in the badass arcade feel of it."
Capcom VS SNK 2 for Xbox is a must-buy for me -- online competition is too sweet.
Right now, buying both Road to Rome and GGX2 is on the bubble. Thanks for the opinions!![]()
