Headfirst has released 10 new PC screenshots of Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth - based on H.P. Lovecraft's seminal horror works - showing off the environments of a mansion. (And they aren't kidding with their adjectival choice of 'dark.')

Dark Corners of the Earth will be released for the PC and Xbox in Q3 2003. A PS2 Ctuhulhu game is also in the works, called Call of Cthulhu: Tainted Legacy.

Looking forward this game, hopefully it will turn up good.

i wish designers would sometimes take a more subtle approach to making their games dark-themed...

not being able to see anything sucks.
