well, seeing as EB sucks ass, i dont have a subscription. plus, they have very few used games (at my local hellholestore) and if the mag is anything like GI, ill pass.
Now everybody gets 10% off, prices on used games stay higher longer.
Net savings to you = 0.

Yeah, I got it. Along with my employee discount, I actually save decent amounts of money now. Of course, it helps that I buy AT LEAST a game a week.
I'd like to stress that all EB's do not suck, just as all GameStops do not suck. Depends on their employees, mostly. The EB I work at is great. I used to go in to buy something, and stay talking with the employees and other neighborhood losers for like an hour. Eventually they asked me if I'd like to work there, and I said yes.
Yep, the Aventura Mall EBX in Miami is a good place.
PS - And we're fucking swimming in piles of used games, Uncle Scrooge-style.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

I bought GMR 02 and thought it was a half-decent mag with some potential. The layout is nice but the writing is a bit amateurish...
But I would not subscribe for a discount on used games since I hardly ever buy used. I only buy used when I really want a game which is hard to find or old and it's the only option.
Subscribing to US-based magazines in Canada is a rip off anyway. They always make you tack on an extra $20-30u which is nuts.
Nope, more than likely, PS2, GC, Xbox.Originally posted by Melf
For which systems? Any Genesis stuff?![]()
EB no longer carries any old stuff..if they do, they'll be giving the person like $0.25-$1 a game.
I grabbed it. I buy a fair share of used stuff, so it was a good deal for me, though the magazine is very weak. :/
"Tick-tock"
Oops, forgot to mention that I picked up a sub too.
Yes, I'm the worst kind, the kind that knows he is a tool of the corporate machine.

That's the thing; it's only $25 CDN.Originally posted by sggg

I wish EB would offer subscriptions for all the magazines that it sells, like the way it's done with GMR. Many Canadians, including myself, would buy more subscriptions if that extra $16 US was removed.Originally posted by Briscobold
