Thread: Help! I need a good PS2 arcade stick

  1. Help! I need a good PS2 arcade stick

I've been looking for a quality PS2 arcade stick for months now. None of the import shops around me have anything decent, and I haven't found anything good on any websites yet. I've heard about the Xarcade, but it's damn expensive and I'm not sure how good of a stick it is. I hate using a pad for fighting games, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanx.

  2. i heard this one is really good
but it 68 bucks at www.ncsx.com

or if you want to go all out

this one going to cost you! around 100 bucks

with me im a pad man

    38 bucks at www.ncsx.com
    hopes that helps

  3. Thanks for your help, I'll check this stuff out. I already looked at the ascii stick, and heard of the mas stick but wasn't sure where to get one. Apparently it's the best joystick from what I've heard. Again, thanks.

  4. Find a Namco PS stick. This one is just perfect.

I'm a bit leery of X-Arcade... Bahn had his Dreamcast controller ports blown out by it, I recall.

Scroll down from that link to see just what Bahn has to say about it. I've stopped using the X-Arcade on my DC after reading this- he said it shorted out his domestic DC.

Ha! You find it! Steve and I both had those, but unfortunately the sands of time have taken them from us. I'd love to find them, but they're fairly scarce.

  6. Assuming the ascii FT2 is the same as the DC ascii FT, it is indeed a very good stick. It's made with Japanese arcade parts, has a nice octagon shaped well (making precise directions easy to find but still gives plenty of give for rolling motions), very responsive.

Ask Kevin to build one for you... Korly works with him. See if he can help you out.

Ha bitches! Mine is still in PRISTINE condition. Steve was about to steal it when I brought it over to play GGX2 the night your router was messed up.

Damn... 59.39 Euro! ($63.80 US) Looks like these are getting scarce. I had gotten mine for $15, but that was over a year ago. Some place called Trading Zone had that thing.

Whenever mine breaks, I'll probably get a Happ Perfect 360 to refurbish it with.

$30 for that RedOctane stick sounds incredible. I'm curious about how this one is. It may well be good.

  10. I've been thinking about getting a MAS stick (the arcadey feel would be great on a bunch of the games I have)once I have enough money. I was wondering if anybody knew how well they worked with those adapters. See, I was thinking about getting just your basic ps2 model and I already have an adapter for ps controllers on the dc and it seems like every system except the GBA has an adapter that will let you use ps controllers. Hell, you can even find one for the PC. It would save me money on the extra cords in the stick and I could use it to play a bunch of shooters and fighting games. So anyone got some info?
