Thread: Quickie: JPN Dreamcasts and boot discs

  1. Quickie: JPN Dreamcasts and boot discs

    - Can you use a Utopia boot disc to play US games on a JPN DC?

    Thanks.

  2. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that the info. being fed to the DC unit is the U.S. boot info.

  3. yes you can, the only game i found not being able to boot is Shenume

  4. Street Fighter III : Third Strike does not get along with the utoopia boot disc.

I use a gameshark, I havn't found anything that doesn't work with it.

You use a GS on an import DC?

  6. No, sorry I read your post wrong. But you should give it a try and maybe it will work.

  7. I once heard about this device called a "mod chip" I think it was. Rumor had it that they worked flawlessly every time and without irritating swappery of discs.:jest:
