Thread: I need a new CD-RW drive

  1. THIRTY SECONDS?!

jesus christ. i remember getting my 8x8x32 drive about two years ago and it cost $230!!! i want a damn rebate!

i would recomend a TDK or Plextor drive.

  2. seriously if you're really into cd stuff and want RAW capability and good DaO the cyberdrives cant be beat. especially at their price.

  3. Lite-Ons rock. They burn EVERYTHING. No coasters since getting one. I would rank them above the Cyberdrives.

    www.pricewatch.com , search for lite-on.

Better yet, check out this link: http://www.pricewatch.com/2/210/1387-1.htm

  4. Thanks for all the responses. LiteOn you say.... interesting.

    30 seconds... <drools>

why does my 20x take 5 min?

  6. well if your doing music mebbe that includes the converting time?

  7. Another vote for LiteOn. I'll be getting one for my new pc as well

  8. yeah, go with lite-on.

  9. I have a Plextor 16x in my old computer, for my new computer I went with a 48x lite on. The reviews were just as good for lite on as plextor, and the lite on was a good $30 cheaper. It burns CD's like a champ.

  10. DOn't get a Norcent (If you ever come accross one). Costers all the time.
