Thread: DBZ: Budokai sells an ass-load of copies.

  1. There are alot of DBZ fans, it is the Justin Timberlake for Teenage boys.

  2. It's not that bad a game, and the Hercule mini-game is hilarious. Perfect $20 purchase.

  3. $20, yes. Full price? Don't kid yourself.
Doesn't matter how many extras that game encompasses, there just isn't a solid enough fighting game behind it.

  4. It isn't good, but it's good enough. It doesn't have to be VF4... heck, it would have sold worse if it was. The people buying the game aren't looking for a deep fighter, thier looking for a way to experience their favorite cartoon. Since it seems to give the fans exactly what they want, it deserves strong sales.

Unlike the DBZ GBA RPG, which was plain ass.

  5. Have you seen DBZ? That would have made the game too complicated for the people that the show is obviously aimed at. They want a simple experience, not a complex fighter.

Exactly! Is fun and easy to play, my only complain is that you can't fly whenever you want, but beside that the game delivers what I was expecting

  7. Yea, this should be nothing new. I had customers come in asking if there was going to be a DBZ game for the US. Might I remind you this was almost a year ago.
