Ultimate Battle 22 has 2D Characters with 3D Polygon backgrounds.

Legends is all 2D Characters with Hand drawn backgrounds but is above veiw and you can have six people fighting at once.

Hm. It technically has polygonal backgrounds, but these don't seem much more impressive then Mode7 (probably why I remember them as 2D). At least Legends (which is side-view, btw) had objects in its background that could be smashed through. The ground in Legends is polygonal (which is all UB22 has as well), with bitmap objects.

Eh, the graphics are leagues better then the control. This plays a bit faster, but I think the power battles and Meteor attacks make DBGT:FB the better fighting game.

Not that it makes much difference in the end, considering the quality of them. But Build-Up mode is addictive.

Why oh why oh why can't they just bring Legends out here so that at least the herd can buy a game that's not pitifully below average...

UB22 though, man. There's no shortage of bad things that can be said of this game that wouldn't be untrue or exaggerating.

i found legends to be pure and utter crap and not fun in even the slightest bit
