I'd like to see Sucker Punch make a 3D Mario game on rails. I'd also like to see Black Box (the NFS:HP2 team) make a Mario Kart game. And, I would actually rather have Hitmaker in charge of the new Mario Tennis than the original MT64 team.
Taito should do the new DK. DDD r0x0r!

Tyler, I've got to disagree with you on Mario Tennis there. I think Camelot should stay involved in some fashion, maybe as consultants.

I think that's a good idea Tyler.Originally posted by Tyler_Durden
I've been staring slack-jawed at Final Fantasy X all day, so take that into account, but...I'd like to see Squaresoft take over the story and the cinematics of the next Zelda game. With EAD covering the gameplay and all the basics, Squaresoft could craft an epic story. I liked like the storylines in Ocarina and Majora's Mask, but they were pretty basic. I'd like to see a Zelda game with more character development and some FFX-caliber cutscenes.

Yoshi is my all time favorite mascot and videogame character altogether.![]()
Give Animal Crossing to the makers of Morrowind.
(I know the company's name, I just can't spell it)
Give Mario to Rockstar North (DMA).

Do you mean a platform Mario by Sucker Punch. If so, I don't think they understand the whole idea of a platformer. Sure, Sly Cooper was a solid title, but Sucker Punch would have to really make the environments interactive like a Mario to even be considered for it.Originally posted by Tyler_Durden

Vexx, Jack and Daxter, Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank all play and feel similar, with minor additions and differences with Sly taking the edge for the use of the popular stealth genre right now. But Mario still beats them all hands down because of its tight gameplay mechanics.

I can't fathom why anyone would want anyone besides Nintendo touching games like Zelda, Mario, or Mario Kart. EAD is the most prolific console development team of all time, and until they run out of ideas I don't see why they should hand their 3 biggest franchises over to anyone. Handing over Donkey Kong was a mistake, even though I love DKC 1 and 2.

People said that, when they heard that Retro Studios was handling Metroid Prime. Could the game have been any better?
