I love Kids in the Hall.
When it comes video game events, the dual descrptions of 'star-studded' and 'classy' rarely come together (if ever), with the exception of the Interactive Achievement Awards, which held their 6th annual ceremony Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on February 28th, where Electronic Arts swept everyone else under the rug with 13 awards, and Nintendo in second place with seven. The event was hosted by Kid in the Hall Dave Foley (yes, his name needs to be bolded), along with presentations by other lesser personalities like Tony Hawk and Kelly Hu.

"As an artist, the only way I know how to make a great game is to go by my intuition and heart," explains Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, the world's renowned video game master and senior managing director of all software for the company. "To win over and over in just one evening stunned our whole team. We're overwhelmed."
Good to see Nintendo do so well, and it'll be great to see Dave Foley again.

Is it just me or do these awards seem a little one sided?
They are usually pretty accurate.
