Has DJ learned how to scalp a man with the side of his hand? If not he is getting behind. Also I suggest you incorperate some sort of "Game of Death" into his training, you know to make him stronger.

get him some nunchucks. They are awesome fun. I got a training pair when I was 9, and got them conviscated from me the next day for hitting my brother with them.
Wait a minute...he's gone up four grades in like two months? That's not good, man...Originally posted by Despair
Unfortunately that will be DJ only form for a while, till he gets his Green belt, hopefully in the next few month.

No, He went only 2. He is yet to get Hight Yellow belt, but his skill level is equal to the High Yellow belt, both in Sparring and Forms.
He is very into it, pretty much spending alot of time at the dojo, sparring, practicing, etc, so his master thinks he is ready to move up. I dont think he would let him jump the level if he thought DJ wasnt ready.
Okay, cool. Different schools/styles rank things differently - some make you earn your white belt, for instance (when I took Shotokan and Chito Ryu I had to). If he's winning sparring competitions, he's probably doing okayOriginally posted by Despair
