Ha, Like you really expect Bungie to finish it up by the end of this year. More they work on it, better and less rushed the final product should be.
Even though I hate Microsoft and it's machine, It's good to see someone appreciate the time taken to make a good game. Now everyone just needs to back off Working Designs.Originally posted by Despair

Playing the game 4 months later later (or whenever) doesn't really make much difference to me. It's bad news for MS though, as Halo 2 was presumably seen as one of the premiere titles to drive hardware sales and LIVE subscriptions. MS had better deliver some BIG titles this year to compensate for this delay.

That's great they're taking their time, but like everyone has said, this'll hurt MS (not like I really care, though). I know one person who's waiting for Halo 2 to come out to buy an X-Box.

Ha! Remember that poll we had a while back that asked if we thought it would be released on time, pushed to 2004, etc.? I voted for 2004. Where's my prize?

Your prize is to wait a little longer for Halo 2.
Enjoy.
This isn't good at all. Will Doom 3 manage to get released before Halo 2, then? Maybe MS should shell some dough out to get a quicker port to ensure people don't get too pissy.
This statement implies that Working Designs actually programs the games they (mis)translate and distribute, which they don't. WD deserves every letter of criticism they earn.Originally posted by spacecowboy
