damn, I remembered not being very good at this game and I haven't improved.

Still, this game got me hooked to shmups and this time I intend to go farther than 1-3

Does anyone know what the second number is when you die ? I seem to remember from the arcade board that the first is % of enemy killed and the third % of secrets, but I am stuck with the second one.

Can someone please explain the end level bonus's to me?

The end of level bonus is pretty obvious:
Amount of bombs in stock * Amount of medals collected.

I'm guessing you might have meant the end of game bonus:
The first percentage seems to be destruction rate. I'm not sure but it was close to 100% for me.
The second one should be how many secret radar boxes you blew up during the game.
The third one I just checked out. Means fighting spirit it seems. I don't know what it means maybe how fast you destroyed bosses or how many radars you blew up or how many medals you collected while flashing.

So hard. So fun.

Quick synopsis of me and scoring. Medals? If I try to maximize em, I die. So I don't. Radar boxes? I know the 200k one on stage 1 in the middle of the crater, but that's it. End game bonuses? 90+ destruction, sub-50 on the other two. ~500k total bonus. So basically, I feel like I could add 500k or more to my current score without getting any further.

Meanwhile, in terms of actual survival, I suck.

Thanks for putting up that site svamppi, I didn't even know those radar boxes existed. I haven't been able to destroy the stage 2 one yet, but I did make it appear once.
