I have'nt owned a Sega CD since 1995. I can't even remember the boot up screen, but I remember having a blast playing games like Dark Wizard, Snatcher and Lunar on the little CD that could.

I'm not big on these screens at all, but do have fond memories of the PSX boot-up sequence, in all its high-res interlaced glory. There was something a little mysterious about it, owing mostly to the sound, I think.

PS2's is ass. So is Xbox's. Hell, while I'm at it, the Xbox dashboard is a triumph of suck.

Do the model 1 and 2 Sega CD machines have different intros? I haven't owned the original model in such a long time and I know something about the two was different.

I prefer the Mega CD one with Sonic in the background myself.

i don't think anyone mentioned the gba's boot sequence. pretty simplistic, but i like it.

Thanks for making me think of this Melf., I was going to vote SegaCD.

The PS2 boot-up is my least favorite. I feel like I'm being brainwashed everytime i have to see it.

It's about time someone hacks a system so you can usurp the boot-up sequence and replace it with your own. ..I'd have some flowers blossoming, or something.
btw, is any network re-runing "Blossom" episodes?
