i found something last night while reading about making saturn controllers into supergun controllers, i'll try and locate it for you.

Is such a modification possible? I'd much prefer a SS pad for use with dai-ou-jou [not to mention all of the other PS2 shooters] than an FT pad.

I think Kaneda uses a six-button Ascii pad that has something very similar to a saturn pad, and he seems pretty happy with that, might wanna ask him about it though
Well, there is indeed the ASCII pad, but maybee LevelSix.com has something...
I was going to do it a while back, then I got too lazy.
It seems like there is this crazy idea amongst 3rd party controller/accessory makers that the dual shock is the best controller. You can get a DC/xbox/gamecube converter to allow dual shock use, but I have yet to see any adaptor for the ps2.

Click, send me an e-mail. If you want, I can make an adaptor that will let you use your Supergun's Saturn pad with your PSX (and other consoles too if you want).
I use a setup kind of like that with most of my consoles, and it works realy well.
The Saturn pad is a lot better than the FT pad, IMO. I used to have one, but I found the D-Pad was kind of jerky and hard to use on action games & shooters (but it did seem like it might be a good pad for fighters).

I really need to look into the technical side of gaming sometime down the road...
matt, would it be possible for you to get a regular japanese saturn pad (non-analog) working on the ps2? i'm not too sure what that Supergun thing is, and i don't have much time to research the issue (i'm at work)..
FYI: That's the FT pad, which CS already mentioned.Originally posted by Shakey

Superguns allow you to play arcade PCBs (printed circuit board) without an arcade cabinet. I know abunch of board members have or make custom superguns. I am interested in this thread because i want to know is how I can use my Saturn Arcade Stick on a PS2 for some Virtua Fighter 4 goodness. Is there some commercial product available out there?Originally posted by epmode
