Thread: Must... find... bagworm!

  1. Must... find... bagworm!

    I've been looking around for info on the elusive bagworm in Animal Crossing and I'm getting nothing but conflicting reports or worse, not enough information to be conflicting in the first place.

    Bagworms are availble in the trees through March. Ok, great, so why have I never seen even one? I've heard you either have to shake the trees or that they're just hanging there off the branches, but so far neither seems to be getting results for me.

    Anyone who's caught one have any useful advice?

    Yeah... I caught one months ago. I just saw an animal staring at a tree, so I shook it, and out came the bagworm. I caught a spider the same way. So, keep an eye out for villagers looking at trees, I guess.

  3. You know, I've seen them staring at fish in the water and it never once occured to me that they might look at other interesting things.

    Me reel smart...

  4. Okay, since my boyfriend is obessssssessssed with this game and i have to watch him play it for hours -_-;
    The bagworms are super hard to see. They are usually just hanging out of trees, and you pass right by them, because they really blend in with the backround...
    If you go around shaking trees, eventually one will make a very quiet *swhoop!* sound, and fall out.
    That's the best advice i can give on that really, good luck!

  5. Blend in with the white snow background from February or the new green background now that it's March? Or more likely, both?

    Stupid hidey bugs...

    James

  6. both =/ but more with the snowy backround......most likely, because they are sort of a whiteish brown color.

  7. I got lucky with this... I was shaking trees and I came across it without even trying to find it... I haven't seen one since... lucky lucky lucky...

  8. I've gotten all of mine by just shaking trees around. Seems to work pretty well.

  9. I hit trees with shovels and they fall down. I think we are talking about the same thing...
