The Italian Job Works Overtime

Eidos Interactive announced today that it has secured the rights to publish a game based on the upcoming theatrical remake of The Italian Job. Originally released in 1969 (and spawning a timely PlayStation release just last year, by Rockstar), Paramount Pictures is set to have a remake starring Mark Wahlberg and Ed Norton ready for this summer. The original film featured an unlikely jewel heist in Venice under the cover of a massive traffic jam, and the remake will also see action in LA.

No word on what consoles will feature The Italian Job, or when.
