Great news, I loved the first two...
Interplay is currently working on a sequel to the acclaimed third-person action/adventure title Fallout in an all-new installment heading to Xbox and PS2 this Fall.
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel takes place after the events that transpired in the original PC title. Up to 2 players can get in on the action, full of strategy and RPG elements. The gameplay in the new installment is more attuned for console style play, emphasizing more action and combat unlike the PC versions which focused heavily upon strategy and RPG elements.

So this is an X-Box port of the Online PC version, right?
It was a great game but I wonder how it'll translate to console seeing as heavily relied on the mouse.
Port? I guess.

Fallout Tactics is a squad-oriented tactical combat game with single and multiplayer modes. Fallout: BoS is an original title made for consoles. It's pretty lame that they reused the subtitle like that - but hey, what harm is a little more brand recognition?
I'm skeptical of this, to put it lightly. I didn't mind how unfaithful Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was to the PC titles of the same name (as I'm not a huge BG fan), but it hurts to see Fallout reduced to something like this. The series has always (screw FO:T) been about having complete freedom in the game world and making the game what you want it to be. Taking that and making a mainstream, linear action game out of it just sounds like a rotten idea. Interplay is obviously scraping for cash.
Of course, I may be premature with this - we don't really know how far from its roots this new game will stray. Things look pretty grim from the press release and screenshots, though.
