How do you make smileys that aren't in the smiley box?

I've seen people using all kinds of smileys that aren't in the smiley box when you reply. How do you do this?

they link from other sites.

previously smilies that were not immediately visible required you to click "more", now all current smilies can be easily seen. not to mention there are new ones.

I link alot of emoticons from the www.mohaabh.com forums, since they have like 40-50 of 'em.

You should be using [img] to get it to show up.
