Thread: Looking for a part time job...

  1. I had a paper route when I was 14. Nothing big but pays like 200 a month which isn't that bad. You don't really have payments of any sort...

Also sold pop out of my locker in High School you can make some good bank if you buy in bulk and sell like for 75 cents a can.

Seriously unless you need money to support your Family, just enjoy your life, hang out with friends study, etc. I was like 17 or 18 when I got my first real part time job.

Yep and renting games is a great idea that's what I did and borrow games from you friends.
You use to sell Kool Aid. In High School. For money. Out of a red wagon. In high school. Did you wear a red t-shirt too?

And who the hell calls soda pop anymore?

There's plenty of middle-aged men hanging out in public restrooms looking for a lad your age to do work around the house. Approach one, they're always friendly.

I started working at a grocery store about 9 months ago, when I was 14. I started out at $5.25 (minimum in FL), but now I'm at $5.75. The pay is pretty bad, but it is really easy work that pays like $250/mo for weekends.

  7. You know what, being 14 does suck. I hated it. College is great. I do less work, have a job that pays well, and a crap load of fun. So don't listen to these guys, loathe your years right now, and then getting ready for more gaming goodness then the hours in the day will let you partake in.

  8. Back when I was 14 the only job I could get was working in an arcade. That worked well enough, you get paid minimum wage for just standing around and cleaning up. Pretty easy.

  9. I cut grass. Depends on the neighborhood, but there is some good deals in it. I used to make upwards of 60 bucks a week for a few hours a week. That is plenty to support your hobby, and that is the money that got me really into gaming when I save enough for my DC.
