Home Depot employees, even first time rookies make around $10/hour in my area, or so I've been told.Originally posted by Rhydant

When I was 14, I worked as a cashier at my mom and dad's service station. Pretty easy job, just sat behind the counter, punched buttons, rung people up. Got to drink all the free soda and eat all the chips and candy I wanted too. (though I'm kinda regretting I took FULL advantage of that now, later in life >_<) When it got really slow, read magazines and played my Game Boy. Ah, 'twas the life. Didn't really get a salary out of it, of course, but my mom pretty much bought me any game I wanted
But I agree with statio and the others on this thread, man, you're only 14, try and enjoy life much as you can before responsibilities start getting hefted on you left and right. If you feel you HAVE to get a job, get something simple, a paper route, mowing lawns, or find a small mom & pop store with a nice, middle-aged or elderly couple running it and do stuff for them. None of these will probably get you much dough, but their the kind of things kids your age should be doing, if they really must be doing them.
omg TNL epics!
worked for me too. i didn't get a lot of money and didn't buy a whole lot, but it worked up until i got myself a job around 17.Originally posted by Rick

I say go the drug route. But sell crack. In certain neighborhoods it sells itself.
Go to a super market and be a grocery bagger. Even tho the supermarket wont pay you from their payroll, you get money from the tips.
I use to do that. But instead of games, I used it on basketball/baseball cards.Originally posted by SXA
Ever since I became a freshman I've noticed that uh... relying on saving lunch money to buy stuff is kinda lame.
hrm... maybe i should of asked for more.Originally posted by Regus
