Ubi Soft to publish Ape Escape 2

After its release in Japan, many were wondering as to where those adorable monkeys got lost on their way to the states. Any details as to their whereabouts were a total mystery for months. Thanks to Ubi Soft, the trail has been picked up and now highly anticipated sequel dropped under the radar is back on course. Today, the company announced a publishing deal with SCEA to bring the game to the PS2 this summer!

"We are very excited to sign this publishing agreement with Ubi Soft to bring one of our exciting game titles, Ape Escape 2, to our North American fans," said Tomikazu Kirita, Senior Vice President, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.

For those not in the know, <i>Ape Escape 2</i> is an addictive creature-catching gameplay and is already receiving positive early reviews from the gaming press and import gurus alike. We eagerly await its release to North America. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
