Well, MGS2 was shite. I mean...shite.
Yes... the same fanboys who made fun of the stupid PS2 owners who flocked to the terrible MGS2.Originally posted by FighterX
Hmm. The fanboys will be all over this one.
Its all stupidity.

Still the best version of a bunch of shitty games? Yeah, I guess I'd have to agree.Originally posted by Shin Johnpv
REremake is still the best version of the game
im sure if it was the exact same game on the Xbox youd like it more![]()
And yeah, of course I'd love it if it were on the Xbox. Just like I hate Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame![]()

do you love me ?
I don't love either of you weirdos.
I'm glad a new Metal Gear game is coming out, I would prefer to be developed for the Xbox, but hey... who really cares.
Wait... Metal Gear Solid 4?
Has Shiggy been smoking crack again?
I don't know. I really liked MGS...not too much MGS2 but it's still a cool game. Things like this, for me, it's the promise of what may come that I like. As someone mentioned RE for GameCube was really the definitive version and RE0 is getting the shaft left and right. I haven't enjoyed a RE as much as RE0 for a long time.
I'd bet you dollars to donuts this is at least a partial reaction to the Splinter Cell port.
Will the fanboys go nuts? Maybe, that's what they do. For my money though the only thing worse than a fanboy is an anti-fanboy. I'm seeing them more and more these days.
A fanboy at least stands for something. He gets pumped and excited and enjoys games.
An anti-fanboy just bitches and moans and refuses to play a game based upon it's fucking boot screen.
Often times people are both, love it when it's for system n hate it when it's on system z.
The first behavior, while annoying doesn't bother me so much.
The second one makes me want to start curb stomping.
Is Metal Gear Solid even a big title anymore? The PS2 ver of Substance was released recently, wasn't it? I have to ask because no one seems to care.
"I've watched while the maggots have defiled the earth. They have
built their castles and had their wars. I cannot stand by idly any longer." - Otogi 2
I care.
Metal Gear Solid 3 won't be as big a name, on paper at least, as Metal Gear Solid 2 was.
I don't think it's not so much as MGS not being a big title anymore as it's been non-stop MGS2 for like 3 years. MGS2 sure as hell isn't a big title anymore.
Series: Big to Fairly Big.
MGS2 [insert version of choice]: Not.
