Oh my, you are a smart little updater, you!
I found Shinobi boring, repetitive and lacking and I hope the next one fails miserably. Not because I dislike it (although that I do) but simply because I dislike everything.
<img align="right" src="http://www.the-nextlevel.com/news/0303/owslogo.gif">Gamerfeed claims that a sequel to Shinobi is in development, and though details are skim, Overworks is allegedly doing a large retooling of the gameplay that was present in their PS2 commercial hit.
New abilites for the next Shinobi may include the ancient art of anti-repetitiveness.

it's only a repetitive game if your not having fun. From what i played i did so....*shrugs shoulders*
I like how Shinobi played, it was pretty original and rather fun. It should be interesting to see what the new one will play like. Maybe they got a lot of flack from people for it not playing like the 16-Bit Shinobi games.
Barf! Barf! Barf!
I hope not. I breathed a huge sigh of releif when I realized they weren't trying to bring the old shinobi gameplay into 3D. To me, that's like 3D bubble bobble. It just doesn't make sense, it's a bad idea.Originally posted by Clash_Master

No, because Devil May Cry is set in a gothic castle and its outskirts, and Shinobi is set in everydrabmuddylevellooksexactlythesame land. Devil May Cry has a better lead character and a lot more weapons. And Hotsuma never requests that his dark soul be filled with light.Originally posted by Frogacuda
