/me goes looking for a...err..."Demo" version to play.
GBA Central has a bunch of pics of this awesome new side-scrolling action shooter. The game plays a lot like Metal Slug, with great graphics and awesome animation. There are even vertical shmup stages and horizontal rescue stages a la Choplifter!
You can read the preiview here and download a video here.

Could be good, if very much ripped off of 'Slug. I'm glad to see the guy can fire diagonally, unlike the default Slug weapon.
This one looks very nice.*drools*
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Wow, how did I miss the prequel to this one? Think NCS might have it or something (the prequel, that is)?
The real gba MS better kick this game's ass or it'll make playmore look bad.
I haven't seen this game (first one) available anywhere.
The original sucks. Only released in Europe, I believe. You can shoot diagonally, but not while you're running. Too few enemies - one or two every few screens. You only take damage from bullet fire, and they don't fire many bullets, so you can just run straight through the level without dying. Only died once before I quit. I had the choice of jumping down a hole or jumping off a cliff to progress. Chose the cliff and I died. Awful, awful level design - the paths branch, but they mostly lead to dead ends. If the sidescrolling levels are this bad I hate to think what the sniper and driving missions are like...There aren't enough x's for how much it suxxx.
It has nice sprites, though.
Looks incredibly dull. Way too many MS influences more my liking, but whatever.
Certainly not gonna make me run out to buy a GBA.
I didn't know Connecticut had Special Forces![]()
