THQ releases Red Faction II

THQ has announced that they have shipped Red Faction II for the GameCube, Xbox, and PC, each with their own enhancements.

The GameCube version, developed by Cranky Pants Games, features custom animations, improved texture resolution and color, and enhanced lighting effects specific to GameCube hardware.

The XBox and PC versions, developed by Outrage Game Studios, features increased texture resolution and exclusive multiplayer maps and character models.

The original Red Faction II was developed by Volition and was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 to critical acclaim.
