Personally I really don't like LCD monitors. They blur way to much for my taste. A nice big flat screen CRT is best. Viewsonic is very nice, I'd say go with one of those.

I bit the bullet and bought an LCD a few months back when my CRT monitor was all screwy, I love this thing so far, and got it for a decent price from Best Buy ($200.)
