Thread: Sony's games aren't that good

  1. Umiharakawase psx> yo momma
    Bubble Bobble > DonDokoDon (IMO)

    DoDonOkondon>Parasol> Bubble Bobble> Snow bros

dark cloud 2 is an excellent game. far better than the first one. be warned, though. it's a time sink. you could easily spend over a hundred hours just playing around with the minigames and sidequests.

My statement still holds true in any event, as Hermie Hopperhead clearly owns Nintendo's balls
Probably, Yukes is a developer, not a publisher.

Oh yes, Dark Cloud 2 is the one title I believe could challenge a lot of Nintendo's. It is fun, polished and well thought out. It also has a lot of replay value, so it is the exception.

  4. Umihara Kawase is indeed a good game but, my Momma's dead and it's not harder to be better than that. However, you are quite, quite wrong about Bubble Bobble being less than Parasol Stars. If you want I can direct you to some journal articles in which researchers have proven that Bubble Bobble is the finest taito arcade game.

  5. Ever play layer section?

I can't upload the 'STFUNEWBIE' pic in this thread.

New Zealand Story, Liquid Kids, Grind Stormer, Bubble Symphony, and the Layer Section sequels are also rad.

  6. Yes, but Layer Section doesn't have a boss called Hyper Drunk or the Great Grape.

    QED BIOTCH!!!

Maybe I should've said best *cute* taito game

Edit: I've got Bubble Symphony & Memories on F3

  7. Why not on the Saturn ?

And weren't Shikigami and Psyvviar published in japan by Taito?

  8. Solid state is better, no load time. That's why I got Elevator Action 2 and Darius Gaiden on cart too. Actually about half of my Arcade shit is available on home systems, but I guess I prefer the board.

Edit: I am pretty sure Psyvariar was, I had the GNET card of medium unit for awhile too

  9. Parasol still owns BB. I challenge you to a poll.

  10. very well, poll it.
