Counter Strike

im new to PC gaming and just started playing Counter Strike (1.5).

anyways, guns i like using are the AK, M4, and the MP5 occasionally.

anyways, who plays? and if you ever want to play, hit me up.

one last thing, people who use the AWP are a bunch of pussies.

Counter-Strike pales in comparison to MoHAA.

I have no idea what the guns are named, to be honest. But I frequently use 3-1 when I start up (pretty common), then switch to 4-3 or 4-4. I think those are the numbers... Im so used to pressing the buttons that I just do, dont even think about what numbers they are anymore. I dont usually use the AK (4-1, right), but it works sometimes in a pinch. Usually when I get in a slump Ill switch up from one of those to 3-3 or 3-4. During the first round, though, ALWAYS get the Desert Eagle... its like 1-3 or something. The most powerful pistol in the game, good for when you're low on money too. Packs a punch.

There are some servers I play on that allow people to disable the AWP. Not surprisingly, games are much more fun without them. I dont know why Valve has kept this balance-killer in the game for so long. I have no problem with headshot instakills, but when a fucking leg shot does ~115hp of damage, you know that something needs to be nerfed.

AK is the best gun in the game... The first-shot accuracy is better than every non-sniper-rifle gun in the game, and is the only rifle that kills in one headshot

Colt is second best... Silencer can be very useful

back in the day, i used to be the Counter-Strike master.

well, maybe not. but i was pretty damned good in my hay-day. i stopped for about 1.5 years, but recently started back up again. it doesnt seem as fun now, though.

I play a lot (when I'm not grounded of course) usually using AUG (Bullpup if you have retail) SIG for Terrorists. Scopes aren't for pussies, they are for long range >.>

Mp5 is nice, cheap, good accuracy, and just fun because you can run and shoot easilly.

I suck at Counter strike. It doesn't matter how good I sneak around, as soon as I poke my head out a doorframe the top of it is blown clear off.

I then proceed to pull my head back into the door, touch the top of my head, give an aknowledgement sigh before passing to my death.

Good game, though.

The closest I've played to CS is the Unreal Tourney mod "Tactical Ops". If they're in any way similar, I'll pass.

Ha, I hear ya. Though I still play CS, I felt they had it nailed with Beta 5 and beta 7.1. CS perfection.
