Thread: M. Jordan, done for good.

  1. Yeah Jordan was definitely an inspirational player, his seer love for the game and the effort he put forth every time he played is what I’ll remember about him the most. I just wish they’d give up on labeling someone as the next Jordan since there will never be another player quite like him, sure there are and will be other great players but never another Micheal Jordan

  2. I pretended he stopped playing the first time he retired. Back when he was the best.

he was a more complete, smarter, and i'd say, better player after he came back from his first retirement. sure, he wasn't dunking on foos as much, but his fade-away was equally as unstoppable and he just knew how to play the game better. it was his run after the first retirement that set the 70 wins record.

  4. He is a legend. He almost got the Wizards into the playoffs. That should be a record by itself. Anyways, it sucks that the young guys quit before the season was over otherwise they would've had a better chance to make the playoffs. I was also disappointed that his shot didn't end the All-Star game. Oh well. I bet he could play next year if he wanted, but why? Now he can relax and enjoy life.

  5. As proof of how big an MJ fan I am, I named my son Jordan....

  6. Is that REALLY proof, Jmet? If you are such a big Micheal Jordan fan I demand a picture of you trying to pay homage to the one handed air-walk Micheal made so popular.

THEN, I demand a picture of you carving the words: Like Mike in to your arm, by which I mean get a tattoo.

That and only that will make me believe you.

  7. I'm sad that he is done. Best basketball player I've ever seen, and a real treat to watch.

  8. He was the greatest. I loved watching him play when I was younger and sometimes I still do, he is indeed a legend. But he is getting pretty old. I think he's had enough, this retirement should be his last.
Freedom is a road seldom travelled by the multitude...

  9. I hope it's his last... they're kinda getting rediculous...
