Grenadine is a syrup made from pomegranates...Used in liquor drinks?? We're talking about Cherry-flavoured drinks. Though it's true in the soda-sense about the stuff companies make is never as good as what you get from a regular bottle of Coke or a can because they also use syrup and then water it down. EWWWW...I worked at a couple of restaurants and sometimes had to clean the syrup gunk and the drink dispensers.
