Sveet. Bring it on, Lucasarts, old-school style!
LucasArts released some new media today for Full Throttle 2.

The first Full Throttle was great. I'm glad to see that the sequel is coming.

This is the first PC game to get me this excited in a long while. Although Sam and Max has me even more interested, despite the lack of media thus far.
Well, theres simply running it and running it well. The latter is prob not gonna happen if your pc is super old.Originally posted by Captain Vegetable
I cannot wait for this particular title. I hope my age-old PC can run it...that's really unrealistic, isn't it.
Anyway, I haven't read up on this game. Is it still a classic point and click adventure or did they try and "Shenmue" it?
It sounds like they're trying to Shenmue it. I'm not so sure about this one...
The visuals are nice, though.
Shenmue is pretty much an old school adventure game with minigames and distractions tossed in, and no sense of humor.Originally posted by Tain

It's called Tales of Destiny II in the US, and it's on PSX. It's easy to find, and I highly reccomend it for the best level designs and battle system you'll find in an RPG, not to mention some great hand painted art.Originally posted by Captain Vegetable
WOW! Nice sig, Frog. I'd like to get that game for the art alone. Got an official thread or site or something?![]()
...No actual "puzzles", either. Just some walking around, maybe pushing a crate and moving an object here and there. Then again, Chojin was probably talking about the control method more than anything else.Shenmue is pretty much an old school adventure game with minigames and distractions tossed in, and no sense of humor.
LucasArts released Grim Fandango which was controller driven, and then Escape from Monkey Island (Which later went on PS2), so I'm guessing that's what they are sticking with. You move your guy around, but still have to do "pick up" "look at" etc
