In the most recent issue of PSM (May 2003), conversations with lead creator & father of Mortal Kombat Ed Boon has stated proof that their team is hard at work developing the next Mortal Kombat title, tentatively named Mortal Kombat VI. IGN also reports that online play will be included in the new game.
As it stands, the only solid release information about the game is that it will appear on PS2, and won't come out until the fall of 2004.
