    I agree 100%.

I'm going to South Korea and China this summer. I do want to go, but between SARS and now this, my trip is becoming more and more risky by the day.

  2. I don't think China would want a loony with nukes hanging around. If anything, it's mutual interest to get this guy out - he could easily go fruit-loops and send something to somewhere that would seriously piss China off...

...and on our interest, I heard those missles could reach LA. Eep.

Yes, and if we take military action, he's much more likely to go fruit-loops, isn't he.

This isn't as cut-and-dry as Iraq, because Saddam was harmless and, despite the rhetoric, we knew that.

but that seems to be the problem, if we dont take action, he still seems to ahve furnished these acts fo agression out of his own delusional thoughts. today on cnn they were sayign nk already calims to be at the brink fo war because of "acts of agression" agaisnt them, despite the fact that the alleged acts are far from actual agression, this guy seems to have the mentality of an angry schoolyard bully. i would love to think tha diplomacy would work on this guy, but he is manufacturing transgressions out of pure fantasy, while at the same time test firing conventional missles dangerously close to japan.

  7. I'm not arguing that this guy doesn't pose a threat. Like the original post indicates, this is a seriously bad situation.

I think NK needs to be warned that a nuclear attack will be met in kind.

That would suck even more. I don't think we should make the threat that if you fire nukes, we'll fire them back. The last thing we need is nuclear war.

I was thinking more like some pathetic loser who has a severe superiority complex. Like Alfred Ashford...

why are you so eager to go overseas and fight in a war? want to put those FPS skills of yours to work, i see.

    seriously though. why?

  10. Well I was all for the war on Iraq, and I am pleased with the results that came from it. In my ideals though, I'm having a hard time deciding what I think of this perdicament. Unlike Iraq, this could concern the whole world if it isn't properly dealt with. This is a case probably best said in the simple expression of "Damned if we do, damned if we don't." My mind is seriously flustered by the situation, it's just a tough thing to deal with especially when you really can't do much about it yourself. I'll watch and hope that maybe some ideal will come to me, and I may fix upon a belief, but right now, I'm just unsure of my feelings for this event. Aside from the fact, it angers me to face such horrible decisions in this world.
