I'm totally gunning you down in Halo 2 if it's online for those hurtful surfing comments you made in the Hummer thread. We'll see who runs whom down when you're in the jeep and I'm running for my life....
wait,
that didn't come out right...
It's not even worth pointing out how lame that comment was when it was so obvious you said it with the full intention of getting a reaction.Originally posted by Delta
i played 4 player deathmatch in halo and it wasn't very fun. we played for 10 minutes and then played goldeneye for hours. best multiplayer fps EVER!
-anyway, Halo 2 looks like it's coming along fine, and should be a great game. Detractors can say what they like, but there aren't many games better designed or more fun in Multiplayer than Halo. We regularly have 4 tvs, 4 xboxes, and 8 players or more, and it's a blast.
-also, while I'd kill for some Timesplitters 2 or Mechassault LAN action, Halo is the only game that everyone owns![]()

Gamefront has a bunch of screens. Not sure if they're new. It's on the frontpage.
The double gun thing is, well, interesting, I guess.
YellerDog, never mind, I got this dude confused with NaPoLmZoRz for a sec.

Doon II Legacy. sweet, sweet bloodshed.
i dont know whats so goddamn amazing about these pictures. theyre not in-game screens, so what does it matter?
They aren't in-game? Screw that then. The Doom games remain my favorite FPSes, hopefully the Halo games, or something else, can unseed them.

I don't particularly care about the character models. I love the first Halo but I agree with the comment that the jeep controls need fixing. Badly.
Actually if you ask me its really intuitive and works perfectly. Its radically different from the vehicle control in every other game, but it lets you do more sick stuff easier and works perfectly in the context of the game.Originally posted by NeoZeedeater

Well, I can't see them (until someone quotes Delta or I bother searching), but I'm fairly sure they're in-game. I know someone (either Bungie or MS) stated that the previous trailers were all in-game material, so I'm not sure why they'd go backwards in normal marketing progression (where they usually give us renders or CG first, and not in-game until months later).Originally posted by Rhydant

But I haven't seen them or read otherwise if they were, so this could be a useless post.
The controls made that final escape about ten times more annoying then it should've been. Actually, no, that wasn't the controls- it was the horrible jeep physics.Originally posted by diffusionx

Yeah, controls were fine for the jeep, but it's Tiggerness got on my nerves real quick.
