Yeah I was thinking the same thing too. I just assumed that Trinity was trying to do one of her patented "superman stretch" dives ,like at the beginning of the first movie ,through a window in the building across from her , and realized all too late that she wasnt going to make it, said fuck it and turned around to shoot at the agents to hopefully take one with her ? <shrugs>

I just saw the movie a second time and enjoyed it a little more as I wasnt trying to pick it apart or compare it to the first..

One other gripe I had with the movie was on the freeway chase when the twins are strafing Trinity's car , how none of our heroes got nicked or plugged at that close range? and why didnt the twins just shoot out the tires? ( unless they were having too much fun just tearing the car apart)...

Also, am I the only person on this board who thinks that Zion is actually in the real world? I mean the fleshy humans will NEVER be able to win a war against the machines as they are now - see Animatrix Renaissance Part 2 for proof of this - so it only makes sense that the humans have to evovle some ,aka Charles Xaviers gifted students for lack of a better example to win this battle.Although it remains to be seen if one - or "The ONE" evolved human can win an entire war on his own.

Another thing - I think some of what the Architect said is BS. If the machines did have SOME part in creating Zion like he was saying ( Neo going in door on the left would recreate a cycle of them doing this with Neo picking 27 male, 8 female to repopulate new Zion) then why the hell were they trying so hard to get the Zion codes/location out of Morpheus in part 1. Youd think if they helped to create it they would know where the fuck it is ...

Okay, I just got back from *finally* seeing Reloaded.

Regarding Trinity's accuracy while falling from the building: not only did I not find it the least surprising, I wondered why she even bothered. One of the rules of Agents established in the first film and upheld in Reloaded is that, if they know a bullet's coming, there is a zero-point-nothing chance of it hitting. [As pointed out by Malkut at Neomega, this applies to hand weapons, not heavy artillery - Neo was able to gun down a few Agents with a gattling gun in the first film.]

Regarding the Architect: everything he said is grade-A bullshit. Think about it: according to him, the machines wanted Neo to go into the Source and re-boot the Matrix. Knowing that Trinity was in danger was what held him back. But why was she in danger? Because of an Agent that the Machines could have called off any time they wanted. As well, if what the Architect said was true, man was fucked either way - extinction or eternal enslavement: is one really any better than the other? Which of course was exactly what the Architect wanted Neo to think; it allowed him to have a clear conscience about rescuing Trin. If he had still believed that going to the Source would have allowed him to end the machines' dominance once and for all, he would have had to struggle with the decision and maybe, just maybe, would have sacrificed Trin for the sake of mankind. It was all clearly a ruse to keep Neo out of the Source (with the added bonus of undermining his faith in Morpheus, the Oracle and the Prophecy), and he fell for it hook, line, and sinker. The colossal irony was that Architect even told him that his judgement was destroyed by his emotions.

Well, In the pics with ALOT of make up on, she looks decent, but in real life, and in MR, its little different story. She is somewhat cute, maybe, but definately NOT HOT.

I still think the whole Falling sequence was useless, and only there for one purpose - so Neo can make a miraculous rescue and revive scene. If you look at it from Action stand point, it was boring, as did you really enjoyed two people SLOOOWLY falling and shooting at each other, missing and missing and missing. They should have done it in faster time, maybe it would have had a better effect. From SFX view, it wasnt that Effective, since it still your Slow-mo fx we all seen before with digital background added. How exciting. Either way the scene was useless and whats even worth we had to watch it TWICE. Plus as it was noted, what the hell Trinity was thinking when she jumped from the window? That she can fly? Or she just read the script and knew that Super Neo will get there right in time?

I'm sorry, but if you have to smear on a ton of makeup to look even "decent" like she does there that doesn't count. And I didn't think Monica Belluci looked all that hot either- she had a shitload of makeup on in an obvious attempt to hide something...

Dude she doesn't even look all that made up there, she just looks to have more makeup than her usual 'natural' look. It just looks like some eye shadow and a better hair style/dress that enhances the way she usually looks.

Monica Belluci, I've never seen her in anything besides Matrix Reloaded or any other pics beside the Maxim ones, in which she looks the same, but I personally think she was pretty hot. Trinity just didn't look AS hot because she looked less made up and Monica looked better compared to her(alot of women too but for the sake of argument).
