According to Gamestop, Koei's Sci-Fi 1,000 on 1 adventure game Crimson Sea is to be released for PS2. Don't know how reliable this bit of info is though.
How is Crimson Sea? The art looks great but the shots seem to be the same Dynasty Warriors formula in a different setting. *-neo

I like it a lot. Probably my favorite XBOX game. It's like Dynasty Warriors in that it's them verses you, but it's mission objectives are wide and varried, the story is nicely done if a bit predictable, and I could have done with a different control scheme.
I'd say pick it up when it drops in price.

Damn the ports.
Crimson Sea is a true love or hate game. I love it personally. It actually has very little in common with DW series, though you can tell in certain ways that it was made by the same people. After playing ZOE2, I'd expect quite a bit of slowdown in the PS2 version of Crimson Sea.

I've never played it, but I love Dynasty Warriors and found this game to be interesting. I'll rent and check it out if its ever released for the PS2...

I'm currently playing through Crimson Sea, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. It's silly enough not to take itself too seriously, but I don't find it to be annoying in the slightest. Most of the environments and enemy designs are incredible, and some of the missions (e.g. Central Sunjack) are hugely fun, even innovative. The soundtrack is great. I've never played the DW series, nor have I played many RPGs, so I don't have a lot of experience to compare it to, but I think it's great fun.
I do agree w/Ammadeau that it's a love-it-or-hate-it affair. Despite the ridiculous hairstyles, shoddy voice-acting, and weird controls, I'm really having a blast. It has fast become a personal Xbox favorite.
Although I wonder how the PS2 will handle all the on-screen activity....?

Not very well, I'd wager.
It'll be interesting to see I guess. I liked Crimson Sea quite a bit, but the controls take some getting used to.
