From designer Michel Ancel, Beyond Good & Evil is ready for its apperance at this month's E3, and is being prepped for a Holiday 2003 launch on all consoles and the PC.

  2. It looks stunning.

  3. I thought it was going to be another bland action/platformer but the art design is really phenomenal...

  4. I've been playing the press demo for a week, as Montpellier's office sent us a copy. The game not simply look amazing, it plays like a gem as well.

They've kept their lips sealed for quite some time but it's worth the wait. The game cannot be categorized in the action or platform department. It's as an adventure game in the same branch as the Lucas Arts series (Monkey Island for instance).

It's as much fun as it is beautiful to look at. Although those are gamecube shots, the PS2 version is just as crisp with details.

I agree. They've dropped a few about this game over the last few months, but the screens are beautiful. This one just got elevated in my book.

That is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion, but I definitely appreciate the visual style they are going for. Definitely something I will look out for.

  7. I've not heard of this until now, but it looks amazing. Is there any other info available?

  8. This came out of nowhere.

Can't wait to see it in action.

  9. Looks like it has an Ico'ish dreamlike quality, fantastic. I'd love to give it a spin.

  10. Interesting.
